What We Do Not Provide

So there is no doubt about scope, absent a separate agreement, the following are outside our flat-fee service:

  • Deeds / real-property conveyances (Estate Distribution Deed) — hire a real estate/probate attorney, we can refer you to one
  • Wills, codicils, trusts, and estate planning — referral to a licensed attorney, we can refer you to one
  • Tax returns (final 1040, estate 1041, Form 706, 1099s) — we can do these for you if specifically part of the agreement or a separate agreement, or your can hire a tax professional/accountant
  • Motor-vehicle title transfer (Texas Affidavit of Heirship for a Motor Vehicle, VTR-262) — county tax office
  • Annual/periodic Accountings, Closing Reports, and Petition for Judicial Discharge
  • Property tax filings or exemption forms
  • Litigation, contest, guardianship, dependent-administration, or partition pleadings
  • Bond paperwork (matters are structured to avoid bond)
