Does No Fee Mean No Fee?
Your attorney pays for access to our platform — there is no charge to you for using our platform. For optional add-on services not provided by your attorney, we agree on a separate flat fee with you up front.
Are Court Costs Included?
We don’t cover costs that can come up. This can include court filing fees, realtor fees, bank fees, investment account fees, etc. These third-party costs are estate expenses that are set by third parties depending on the estate and its needs. Unless expressly stated, these costs are not included in our service fee for add-on services. We will do our best to tell you what to expect and try to propose ways to save on or reduce these costs were we can.
Is the Attorney Fee Included?
No. You pay your attorney directly. You are free to work with any qualified attorney for the work needed based on terms you work out with the attorney.
Can I Bring My Own Attorney?
Yes, and we can work with any attorney who agrees to work with you using our platform. That can be an attorney you find, or one that we refer you to. Our platform helps you do the bulk of the work — giving you the templates and software to prepare your documents, tracking your deadlines, and keeping everything moving — while your attorney reviews the work and represents you. You arrange fees directly with your attorney.
